Welcome To
SISTAH SPACE
Founded in November 2015, Sistah Space is a community-based non-profit initiative created to bridge the gap in domestic abuse services for African heritage women and girls.

ABOUT US
Valerie Forde and her 22-month old daughter were viciously murdered by Valerie's ex-partner (and the baby's father) in 2014. This tragic event highlighted the need for an organisation to tackle domestic abuse in African heritage families and was the catalyst for the creation of Sistah Space.
Sistah Space combines the specific needs of African heritage families with expertise in domestic abuse services.
We can provide a safe space for anyone who is concerned about domestic abuse.
