More than a shop, our community hub
Our Dalston shop is unlike anything you've seen before. A community hub where fashion meets purpose, and every purchase funds the frontline.
Our ambassador FKA twigs has helped us to build and curate an incredible collection of donated pieces from some of the biggest names in fashion, music, film and sport.

Every item you pick up puts money directly into the hands of a charity that has spent 10 years fighting for Black women.
Our Dalston store funds Sistah Space's frontline services, advocacy work, and specialist support programmes for African and Caribbean heritage women.
We're looking for high-quality donations to keep the shelves stocked and the mission funded. If you have pieces to give, keep scrolling, we'd love to hear from you.
"Sistah Space feels like home. They are a lifeline rooted in care, protection and community."FKA twigs, Sistah Space Ambassador
A space to breathe, heal, and be heard
Just behind the shop floor, we've created a multifunctional space designed around the needs of our community. It opens up into the wider space for events and workshops, or closes off completely when privacy is needed. It's warm, it's welcoming, and it's here for you.
The wellness room is already hosting workshops and support sessions, with more services launching soon. Whether you need to talk, to learn, or simply to be in a space that understands you, you're welcome here.
This room is at the heart of what makes Sistah Space different. It's not just about crisis support. It's about creating a place where Black women can access care, connection, and community all under one roof.
The UK's first specialist domestic abuse charity for Black women
Sistah Space was founded in 2015 following the murder of Valerie Forde and her 22-month-old daughter, Baby RJ. Their story exposed how mainstream services were failing Black women and became the catalyst for everything we do.
For 10 years, we've been providing culturally competent support, advocacy, and practical help to women of African and Caribbean heritage affected by domestic and sexual abuse. From our base in Dalston, we offer specialist services that understand the intersection of racism, gender-based violence, and cultural context.
Our work spans five pillars: specialist support, refuge development, cultural competency training (known as Valerie's Law), our food bank, and this very shop, which reinvests every penny back into frontline services.
